This week was finals week, so I was not able work on the project too much. However, I implemented a "counter" that shows the user how many cards are in a stack, in addition to a "share to twitter" option.
This week, I believe my advisor and I are going to discuss the writing of a final paper to display what we have done.

(4-29) Final Steps
This week, I solved the card issue. The problem involved the data being inserted into the database not matching that of the TCG server (the application IDs didn't match). I'm currently unsure why exactly this happened, but I'm working on figuring it out so it won't happen again.
Additionally, this week I implemented the base code to support card stacking (multiple instances of the same card will appear in a "stack" in the cardbook) and a "share to Facebook" button to each card. To have the cards stack, I first read all the cards into a PHP array of objects. Then, when echo-ing the resulting html, I check to see how many instances of the card exist in the array. For each instance, I add another card div with a higher z-index, shift it right and down, and decrease its size. As for the share button, Facebook made the sharing button incredibly difficult due to their (rather recent) changes to the feature involving security. Since the TCG game site doesn't use HTTPS, I could not have a share button that shares a link to the card (so the user can share the card they earned) and have it redirect to the game site so others may play. My workaround was sharing the image itself, and having a link to the game server displayed as a "comment" in the share box.
This week, I plan on adding the entire card (not just the image, but also stats) to the cardbook. Additionally, I plan on making the site in its entirety more aesthetically pleasing, for at the moment it is rather rudimentary.

(4-21) Next steps
My advisor and I have been struggling to get approved for a user study. The IRB organization hasn't responded, so we decided to prepare for an incredibly short (few days) user study in the case we get approved in the next week.
I am preparing by focusing on the user experience. My login page now looks clean and professional, and the color scheme of the site is now aesthetically pleasing. This week, I plan on finalizing the way the cardbook is displayed, with multiple instances of the same card stacked.
This week, I also ran into a roadblock. Suddenly, cards stopped being displayed on my site. I believe it's because of another key error due to someone accidentally altering keys (could possibly be me). I'm currently troubleshooting that before moving forward.

(4-13) Presentations and future work
This week, I completed my poster and presented it at the student research symposium. It will be attached below. After the symposium, I was made aware I failed to include some participants in the header (In particular, Eric, my advisor Jun Zheng, and Eric's advisor).
Additionally, I worked on how the cards are displayed to the student. Before, they were not in English, but now they are.
Next week, I plan on adding a feature in which when a student clicks on cards from their cardbook, it is expanded, and the student has the option to share it to social media.
